Tura to be part as Postal department launches IPPB Sept 1

TURA: The Department of Post, India has informed that it would be rolling out the ‘India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) all over the country on September 1.

Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will launch the function at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi in the presence of Governors and other Union and State Ministers. The same will be launched simultaneously in 650 branches and 3250 access points across the country including the Tura Head Post Office.

In Tura, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sabrella B Marak will attend the programme as the chief guest and Principal of College of Teacher Education in Rongkon, Samir Nhowmik as the guest of honor.
