SHILLONG: NPP MLA from Phulbari, Esmatur  Mominin (Rahibul Islam Sarkar ) has alleged that the Congress has been trying to dismantle the NPP-led Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) from the day, when the Government took over

Talking to a group of media persons here on Friday, Mominin said, “ They (Congress) have not succeeded to break the Government till now and they will not be successful even in future,.”

Asserting that there is no threat to the Alliance from any corner, he said that all the MLAs and coalition partners were very much satisfied with the working style of the Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma.

“ HSPDP, UDP and PDF are partnering with us because they were not happy with the Congress leadership,” he said.

Expressing confidence that the coalition would last its full tenure, he added that all the MLAs and coalition partners are working hand to hand and the Chief Minister has given free hand to all to work as per their style.

“The chief minister does not interfere with the departments which he is not holding,”Mominin added
