Hek asks Prestone to expand RR Colony-Umpling bridge

SHILLONG: Health Minister A. L Hek has written to PWD (Roads) Minister Prestone Tynsong on Friday to expand the bridge from RR Colony to Umpling.
Hek, who is also the legislator from the area, informed Tynsong that the bridge connecting RR Colony and Umpling is very narrow which causes a lot of congestion delaying the movement of the vehicles through the bridge.
