CM to take oath as MLA on Wednesday

SHILLONG: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma may resign as MP on Tuesday to enable him to take oath as MLA on Wednesday.
An official source said as per the tentative plan, Sangma is expected to resign on Tuesday as MP as he will have to take oath as MLA in Shillong on the next date.
The chief minister, who is camping in Delhi, was not available for the confirmation of the date, though he was contacted.
