Tripura awarded i-Pad to top ranking students of board exam

Agartala: To recognise the talent, the Tripura government has distributed Apple i-Pad among 79 meritorious students who did extra ordinary result in Higher Secondary and Madhyamik this year in a simple function last evening in the name of Annual State Award for Academic Excellence 2018.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb awarded the i-Pad among five top ranking students of both the exams, five top ranking girls of board exams, top five ranks belong to SC, ST, OBC, Minorities along with the merit certificate. Speaking in the occasion, chief minister Deb said the BJP-IPFT government has given priority in the education sector and multiple steps have been taken to improve the education infrastructure in the government schools besides, over all environments.
