SHILLONG: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma called on Union Minister of State Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri along with State Urban Development Minister Hamletson Dohling in Delhi on Monday.
In the meeting, a number of issues were discussed regarding Smart City funding for Meghalaya, issues of funding under the 15th Finance Commission, pending release of funds and additional fund allocation for Laitumkhrah and Polo Market in Shillong.
Singh was positive to all the concerns raised and has assured support and cooperation to improve the urban facilities and amenities in Meghalaya.
