SHILLONG: As there is already an embargo by the High Court on holding bandh in Meghalaya, the AICC has issued instructions to have a peaceful agitation during the nationwide bandh sponsored by the Congress on Monday. The Congress is in a dilemma as the party’s government under the leadership of Mukul Sangma was instrumental in banning bandh and other forms of agitations in Meghalaya. When contacted, the AICC general secretary in-charge Meghalaya Luizinho Faliero said over phone on Saturday that instructions have been issued to the MPCC president and the CLP leader on the nature of holding the protests due to the ban on bandh.
