SHILLONG: The Shillong Assamese Ladies Welfare Club celebrated the birth anniversary of Dr Bhupen Hazarika on September 8 at Assam Club with a Sardhanjali function which included lighting of lamps, recitations of poems and songs and speeched delivered by the members of the club presided over by the club’s president Binu Hazarika.
Songs were presented by Joytika Gosami, Anu Kalita and Gitanjali Borkakoty Puja and many others.
