Minority panel meet to have govt, KHADC & Hima

SHILLONG: The state government, Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council and the Hima Mylliem will attend a meeting called by the National Commission for Minorities to be held in Delhi on Wednesday.
The meeting is to discuss the issues related to Harijan colony. Sources from Hima Mylliem and KHADC said that the decision to attend the meeting was taken at the chamber of Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong.
The Chief Secretary will represent the government.
Pyniaid Sing Syiem representing KHADC and legal advisor of the Council, Erwin Sutnga will also be part of the delegation.
Paiem Ainam Manik Syiem, Myntri RF Kharbuki and others will represent the Hima Mylliem.
