SHILLONG: A 28-yr-old man took his own life by hanging from a building railing using a cable wire in Nongthymmai on Tuesday.
Police said that Wanphang Lyngdoh, a resident of Nongkhyriem block in Nongthymmai was missing since Monday night and he was found dead on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased is said to have killed himself in the morning and police were informed about the matter later in the day on Tuesday. The reason behind the suicide is yet to be known and police are inquiring into the matter.
