Truck fatally knocks down one
On September 7 at 5.40 am, one truck (ML-04B-4315) driven by Teibor Dkhar (33), knocked down Kamal Pradhan of Madanrting, Block-C, Shillong. As a result, the victim died at the spot.
Man attacked, robbed
Mrinal Deb lodged a complaint that on September 10 around 1.30 pm, Rahul Sinha, armed with iron rod went to his house at Rilbong, Shillong, attacked him and also decamped with cash Rs. 1,50,000 and gold jewelries valued round Rs. 90,000.
Man duped of Rs 1 lakh
Sanjay Bhattacharjee lodged a complaint that on August 9, he received his Credit Card from SBI and on August 10, he received two anonymous phone calls, wherein the callers identified themselves as SBI staff and on the pretext of verifying his Credit Card, asked about the details of his account, etc. Meanwhile, the complainant received an SMS that Rs. 1,01,930 has been withdrawn from his account using his Credit Card.
