JOWAI: East Jaintia Hills Police arrested a person for illegal possession of weapons and booked him under Arms Act.
The arrested person is identified as Binoy Boro (30) of Nalbari, Assam.
After getting information the police raided his resident at Jaly-iah village under Khliehriat PS and seized a country-made revolver with five live ammunitions and a dagger from his possession. Boro is residing with his wife who belongs to Pnar Community.
Police suspect that he might have been involved in some robbery cases in the past.
