He presented an analysis of the role that is played by several public and private organisations, whose active voices and deliberations contribute towards the foreign policy consensus that is seen in case of India.
During his lecture, he dealt extensively with about eleven groups of actors and focused on their minute role that they played in the context of the national foreign policy making and its further direction in response to the changing demands of our time and the nation as well.

Lamin in his closing remark expressed the view that with holding such lectures and the MEA showing keen interest in involving the universities, the intellectuals, young students, researchers and the faculty members can play a very important role in the shaping up of India’s foreign policy in the future, which can help in fulfilling the dreams of the people of this region as well as the whole country, besides the Act East Policy.
