Singer Kylie Minogue, who was not able to perform at the Glastonbury Festival 14 years ago due to her battle with breast cancer, will perform in the Legends slot at next year’s event in Somerset.
The Can’t get you out of my head singer follows in the footsteps of previous performers Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie and Barry Gibb, reports a website.
A festival insider said: “Kylie (Minogue) had to pull out of Glastonbury in 2005 just a month before she was due to appear so this performance will be a very emotional and poignant moment for her.
“She jumped at the opportunity to appear next year and it is the perfect way to celebrate her career.” (IANS)
