SNSBH supports rally demanding Scheduling of Khasi language

SHILLONG: The executive committee of the Synjuk ki Nongsynshar Shnong ka Bri U Hynniewtrep (SNSBH) has extended their support to the rally to be taken up by the Khasi Authors’ Society (KAS) on September 22.

The rally will be held to gather support and demand for the inclusion of Khasi language in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution.

In a statement issued here, the SNSBH has also requested the Khasi community to extend their support to the rally and urged the Dorbar Shnong to make public announcement about the rally.
