3 more Hizb-ul – Mujahideen operatives arrested by Assam Police

GUWAHATI: Assam Police have arrested three more persons — Riazuddin, Baharul Islam and Zoinal Ahmed – for having link with banned Hizb-ul-Mujahideen out and all of them were remanded to seven days police custody on production at the district judicial court in Hojai.
So far Assam police have arrested total six persons for having links with the fundamentalist outfit. All the arrests were made in the wake of arrest of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen operative Kamar-uz-Zaman, who hails from Assam, from Kanpur by Anti Terrorist Squad of Uttar Pradesh police on Thursday last. Kamar-uz-Zaman was assigned to set up a network of the outfit in Assam
