SHILLONG: The Khasi Jaintia Deficit School Teachers’ Association (KJDSTA) has lauded the state government for approving the much awaited Education policy.
KJDSTA president E.D Nongsiang said that the policy was a long pending demand. The association on Saturday held a meeting to discuss the draft service rules released by the government recently. “We have distributed the draft service rules among our members for their suggestions and reviews,” he said. The KJDSTA will also formed an academic committee to review and find the loopholes in the text books of Classes VIII-X and the report will be submitted to MBoSE director on Monday.
