Girl students leave school hostel in Tripura for fear of ‘ghost’

Ambassa: Ghost panic has made all girls to evacuate the hostel of Kasturba Gandhi Valika Bidyalaya (KGVB) while the Science and Rationalists Association of India (SRAI) has been approached in the subdivision of Ambassa in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here recently.
The KGVB at Ganganagar area in the subdivision has 50 residents and the problem started from February.
The unnatural behaviour of a girl student has infused panic among others. The girl students have reported about the whispering conversations and sound of feet at the dead of night.
Then the students started evacuating the hostel.
One Christian and a Hindu monk have already visited the hostel but without remedy.
A team of school education department has visited the school along with the SRAI members. They have interacted with the students and guardians.
It has been revealed that the security arrangement for the hostel has remained nonexistent for long. (UNI)
