Ri Bhoi leaders meet Lapang

SHILLONG: Many local leaders from Ri Bhoi met DD Lapang at his residence on Wednesday.
The leaders, who are from different parties, have decided to follow and support Lapang, a statement to the media said.
The statement issued by RB Shadap, a former Congress leader, said the leaders include former KHADC chief RR Makdok, Watson Kharkrang, Field Marshall Mawphniang who is a former MDC, Banbuhai Makdoh, Donlang Sohkhlet, James Lapang, GS Shadap, Balajied Kharshiing, Hesting Lyngdoh and Flying Khymdeit.
Shadap said the group will hold a grand meeting in the coming month.
