SHILLONG: Meghalaya lost to Uttarakhand by 8 wickets in round VIII of the plate group.
Winning the toss and opting to bat first, the batsmen once again failed to put up a decent score. Meghalaya was all out for 143 runs in 41.3 overs out of allotted 50 overs, with only in form Yogesh scoring 44 runs(65 balls) and Gurinder 34 runs(50 balls). Meghalaya lost both their openers Raj and Sylvester with 8 runs on the board. Sylvester replaced Rajesh Tanti while Chengkam came in for Mark for this match. Vaibhav claimed 03 wickets while Dhapola and Saudiyal claimed 02 wickets each for Uttarkhand.
In reply Uttarakahand notched up 143 runs for the loss of 02 wickets in 31 overs with Vinnet Saxena scoring an unbeaten 66 runs(87 balls).
