Major Gen Chauhan calls on Guv

SHILLONG: Major Gen Raju Chauhan, ADG, NCC Directorate NE Region called on Governor Tathagata Roy at Raj Bhavan on Monday.
Maj Gen Chauhan apprised the governor about the NCC activities and challenges under which the NCC is operating in North East region.
The governor, who was an NCC Cadet himself during his school days, appreciated the service being rendered by the NCC towards nation building. He also praised the NCC for contribution in grooming the youth for creating a motivated human resource.
