NEHU prof gets Biotechnology Overseas Associateship

SHILLONG: The Biotechnology Overseas Associateship for the Scientists working in Northeastern States of India: 2017-18 was awarded to Dr. Sudip Paul. He is an Assistant Professor in Department of Biomedical Engineering, School of Technology, NEHU, Shillong, since June 2012.
He received his Ph.D degree from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi with specialisation in Electrophysiology and brain signal analysis.
He has applied for this prestigious fellowship to pursue his Post-Doctoral research at the University of Western Australia, Perth under the supervision of Prof. Amitava Datta, School of Computer Science and Software Engineering, UWA. There were many applications for this fellowship but he is only one who gets from NEHU. He has granted for official study leave for the six months to complete his research.
