State teams having good run at Basketball C’ship

SHILLONG: In the ongoing Basketball Championship at Udaipur (Rajasthan), state girl’s team was placed in group-F alongside Odisha, Chandigarh and Andhra pradesh. On Day-2, they defeated Odisha by 38-26 points. On Day-2, they lost to Chandigarh by 47-61 points. On October 3, they will play against Andhra pradesh at 7.30 PM. They have a strong chance to qualify for the knock-out phase.Boys Team on Monday won against Manipur by default (Walk-over). Manipur Team was rejected by BFI for not producing genuine age proof documents. On Tuesday Boys team will play against Bihar at 4.45 PM. with a strong chance to qualify to the knock-out phase.
