Fake website
Haresh Veswani, Proprietor of Hotel Rainbow, Police Bazar, Shillong lodged a complaint that miscreants fraudulently registered a fake website in the hotel’s name.

Assault
Shibalin Khongjee of Mawlai Phudmuri, Shillong lodged a complaint that on October 3 around 9 pm, her son’s estranged wife went to the complainant’s house along with accomplices and assaulted her causing her injuries.
Korimon Bibi lodged a complaint that on October 2 around 3 am, three persons- Yunus Ali, Shah Jahan and Saddam Hussain assaulted her husband, Anarul Islam alleging that he stole a mobile phone causing him grievous injuries.

Theft
Bulon Paul lodged a complaint that on October 3 around 9 pm, miscreants broke into his godown at Police Bazar, Shillong and stole garments valued around Rs 2 lakh.
On October 2 around 9.30 pm, miscreants broke into the official quarter of Devimina Nongsiej at PWD

Compound, Nongstoin (WKH) and stole a TV set.
Phonstarwell Sumer Co-coordinator, Urksew Wahpathaw Cluster Resource Coordinator-Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (CRC-SSA) lodged a complaint that on October 2 night, miscreants broke into Pynursla Government LP School and stole Rs 3000 and Rs 25000 from Urksew Wahpathaw CRC (SSA).
Doney Mark Pohshna lodged a complaint that on August 29 around 6 pm, miscreants stole around 20 sacks of betel nut valued around Rs 2 lakh from Amlympiang (WJH).

Man assaults mother
An elderly woman was assaulted by her son after she refused to give him money. Mina Deb Nath (65) was attacked with a hammer on the head by her son at Bara Bazar in the city around 1:29 pm. The victim was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong by 108 ambulance
