SHILLONG: Several patients are affected by the break in Megha Health Insurance Scheme (MHIS).
Health Minister A L Hek last month announced that there would be a few months’ break in the implementation of the scheme.
However, sources said confusion among patients as well as hospital authorities still persists regarding the scheme as there is lack of clarity on the matter in absence of specific official information from the government.
Sources added that the government and the insurance company are expected to meet soon to iron out the differences over payment of premium.
