Assam govt hikes DA hike for employees by 2%

GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal approved two percent hike in Dearness Allowance for State Government employees. This would be effective from July 1, 2018. State Government will incur additional 50 crore per month for this increase in DA. This will take the DA of State Government employees from existing 7 percent to 9 percent.
