SHILLONG: The three suspended MDCs of PDF expressed surprise at the silence of the party for not calling them for talks even as the suspension was lifted on October 7.
Latiplang Kharkongor, James Sylliang and Blanding Warjri were suspended for extending support to the Executive Committee of Khasi Hills Democratic Alliance (KHDA) led by HS Shylla.
Kharkongor said, “The disciplinary committee of the PDF did not issue any ‘show cause notice’ to us. We are still in the dark as we are not aware whether the party will continue with the suspension or not.”
Terming PDF as a ‘dictatorship party’, he said the senior leaders in the party are being sidelined.
Pointing out at the chaotic nature of the party, Warjri said, ‘We don’t not know who is the leader of the party? whether it is the chairman (P N Syiem) or the president (Ivanlumlang Marbaniang) .”
