Shillong: The fourth edition of the Sunfeast Cup Football Tournament will conclude on Saturday.
The tournament kicked off at Mawlein Mawkhan Football Ground on Tuesday with 500 teams battling it out for the top spot.
The boys’ teams for the U-13 and U-16 categories have come from six states — Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
This edition also witnessed girls participating in the U-16 category matches in Aizawl, Itanagar and Shillong.
The five-day tournament is organised by SPT Sports Management Pvt Ltd in collaboration with Sunfeast Biscuits from ITC Foods and the respective state led football associations in an effort to provide a strong and effective platform to young footballers and foster fresh sports talent in the country.
