Fourth edition of Sunfeast Cup concludes today

Shillong: The fourth edition of the Sunfeast Cup Football Tournament will conclude on Saturday.
The tournament kicked off at Mawlein Mawkhan Football Ground on Tuesday with 500 teams battling it out for the top spot.
The boys’ teams for the U-13 and U-16 categories have come from six states — Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
This edition also witnessed girls participating in the U-16 category matches in Aizawl, Itanagar and Shillong.
The five-day tournament is organised by SPT Sports Management Pvt Ltd in collaboration with Sunfeast Biscuits from ITC Foods and the respective state led football associations in an effort to provide a strong and effective platform to young footballers and foster fresh sports talent in the country.
This year, Sunfeast Cup has elevated the experience to an all new level by curating a carnival-themed set up with nail-biting football action, food stalls, social media updates and daily prizes.
Last year more than 350 teams from different parts of the North East participated in the tournament.

Football lovers will be able to witness the young footballers harness their talent and compete for the prestigious trophy at the finals, to be held in Guwahati this December.
