Four injured in separate accidents

SHILLONG: Four persons were injured in separate accidents in parts of the city.
Jeollrilsanga Pautu (24), who was riding his scooty, was hit by a van in Nongthymmai near bridge around 10:56 pm and sustained injuries. First aid was carried out and the victim was shifted to Nazareth hospital by Laitumkhrah based 108 ambulance.
Abhishek Thapa (18) who was riding his scooty was hit by a maxi truck in Mawlai Umthlong, near Banalari around 9.40 am and sustained injuries. After first aid, the victim was shifted to Civil Hospital by 108 Lawmali based ambulance.
Philiang Nongbri (40) and Lodric Nongbri (50) were travelling in a Gypsy when they hit a divider after losing control.
The vehicle overturned at Umsamlem around 2.30 pm. Both the victims sustained head injuries and pre hospital care was provided and they were shifted to Nongpoh Civil Hospital by Umsning based 108 ambulance.
Clarification on

108 ambulance has clarified that it was the husband of the late teacher, Chuwakilahlaw (30), who said he had sustained injuries as miscreants went inside his residence at Mynthong Rait Sait Sim around 12 .17 am with the intention of committing robbery and slit his and his wife’s throat.
Chuwakilahlaw is the victim transferred by 108 ambulance to hospital.
