Cleaning drive
Cleaning drive of Iewduh will be conducted by the Syiem of Hima Mylliem and Durbar on October 21 from 9 am onwards. The farmers are barred from bringing their produce on this day. Car owners are prohibited from parking their vehicles from Motphran Jeep Stand till Iew Mawlong to prevent traffic congestion.
Rice, sugar released
The West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner (Supply) has informed that PHH and AAY rice for beneficiaries for the month of October, and levy sugar for the month of January, February and March, 2018 respectively has been released in respect of Tura urban and rural based fair price shop dealers.
Oil released
The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Khasi Hills District, Nongstoin has informed that SK Oil for the month of October has been released through SK Oil Sub-dealers to the families of AAY, PHH and Non-NFSA. The price for the Sub-dealer is Rs. 27. 69p per litre and for the public consumers Nongstoin is Rs.30.69p per litre and outside Nongstoin Town Area is Rs.31.19p per litre. Any non-supply of SK Oil and over charging of rate by dealers may be brought to the notice of the DC.
