SHILLONG: As many as 125 police men have lost their lives till date as the Meghalaya police are set to observe the commemoration day on Sunday.
A statement by DGP R P Agarwal said on Saturday that police commemoration day will be held on Sunday to pay tribute to the martyrs of police, central armed police forces and other sister organisations who sacrificed their lives at the altar of duty.
