SHILLONG: The members of FKJGP Lai Shnong Area Unit on October 18 repaired the dilapidated road from Lad Mawnianglah in 7th Mile Upper Shillong upto Mawrashe and Mawkhan.
The team was led by president of FKJGP Lai Shnong Area Unit, Hopewell Kharkongor, along with Christphin Kharmawphlang headman of Mawrashe and Arkos Kurkalang secretary of Mawrashe.
Kharkongor, said the unit had repeatedly met officials concerned to repair the road but there was no action. (Contd on P-10)

(Contd from P-3) In a statement issued here, president of FKJGP Upper Shillong Circle, Kitboklang Nongphlang said the organisation members were prompted to repair the road themselves following the lackadaisical attitude of the government.
