Drivers’ meet
The district level general meeting of the Meghalaya Government Drivers’ Welfare Association will be held at the Soil and Water Conservation Office Conference Hall at Forestilla in Tura on October 27. The presidents, secretaries and unit committee members from all Garo Hills districts have been requested to attend the same in time without fail.
Condolence
The members of Shillong Tamu Samaj expressed their sadness and conveyed their condolences to the family of Late Mohan Singh Gurung of Jhalupara, who was the president of the Tamu Samaj. Gurung passed away on October 16. The members of the Samaj prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
