Indranil Mittra takes charge as NRL director (finance)

GUWAHATI: Indranil Mittra has taken over as the director (finance) of Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), a press statement from the Upper Assam-based public sector undertaking issued here on Wednesday said.

Mittra was holding the position of chief general manager (finance) of NRL earlier. He has a varied experience spanning around 30 years in the oil industry in diverse areas of finance such as corporate finance, indirect tax, business finance, including exposure in upstream..

Besides, he has garnered rich experience in handling commercial and enterprise resource planning roles.

Mittra started his professional journey at Price Waterhouse, where he spent a little more than a year before joining Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) Corporate Finance in December 1989. Thereafter, he has been associated with BPCL and its subsidiaries, Bharat Petro Resources Limited (BPRL and Bharat Oman Refineries Limited (BORL).
