SHILLONG: The UDP Pynursla circle has decided to send names of two candidates through the UDP East Khasi Hills to the UDP central body to contest the 2019 Council elections from Nongshken and Lyngkyrdem-Laitkroh.
In a meeting on Wednesday, the UDP Pynursla decided to send the names of Lutphar Dkhar for Nongshken constituency and Ryngkatlang Lyndem to contest from Lyngkyrdem-Laitkroh.
Party sources said the candidates assured at the meeting to maintain their principles and remain in the party.
