Woman gang raped in moving car, two held
GUWAHATI: Assam police on Thursday arrested two of the five persons accused of rape of a woman in moving car in Tihu area of Nalbari district of Assam of on Wednesday. Police have also seized the Maruti Alto car used during the crime.
The arrested persons were identified as Nurul Ali and Mukul Nath. Police claimed that three other identified accused were absconding.
The gang of criminal dumped the tormented women in a jungle on Wednesday night after committing the crime and fled the scene. She was spotted in a serious condition on Thursday morning and rushed to hospital.
