Special interactive programme held to highlight govt schemes

TURA: One-day special interactive programme was held at Doldegre Upper Primary School in West Garo Hills on Tuesday, organised by the office of the Assistant Director Information and Public Relations (ADIPR), Tura where the officials of various departments highlighted their schemes and implementation in the district.

During the programme, Agriculture Development Officer, Salne A Sangma, Fishery Officer, Risa Sangma, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, Dr Hadasa B Sangma highlighted the schemes and their activities being done by their respective departments in the district. The officials of these departments also interacted with the people and replied to the queries presented to them.

Further, the importance of the Right to Information Act 2005, was also delivered during the programme.

Assistant Director, Information and Public Relations, Tura F K Marak, Nokma Rongalgre, Assistant Teacher, Doldegre Upper Primary School, Doldegre, J Shira were among others who  spoke on the occasion.

Nokma Doldegre Aking Land, W Ch Marak, Headmaster, Doldegre Upper Primary School, Doldegre, R A Sangma, people of the surrounding villages, Staff of the office of ADIPR, Tura took active part in the programme.
