TURA: The Tura Municipal Board (TMB) has issued a notification directing all owners of junk/abandoned vehicles lying on PWD roadsides within the Tura municipality area to remove them by November 12.

The effort is being made by the West Garo Hills District Administration to decongest roads and prevent health hazards for which, cooperation has been sought from all concerned.

The notification warned that non compliance of the order after the expiry of the given time period will lead to all unclaimed vehicles being removed or towed to the junk yard and no claims would be entertained after that.
