SHILLONG: The notification of a Sub Divisional School Education Officer asking various schools to collect Rs 1000 each, has irked the Rajabala legislator Azad Zaman.
Referring to the notification issued by Ela Begum Laskar, the Sub Divisional School Education Officer, Dadenggre,West Garo Hills, Zaman said all the deficit/adhoc/govt/improved institutions have been asked to collect Rs 1000 from each school and submit it to the official. The MLA wanted to know the purpose of collection of money.
