Eco run as part of Wangala fest

TURA: As part of the 100 Drums Wangala Festival, an Eco Run will be organised by the 100 Drums Wangala Committee in collaboration with the Tura Runners’ Club and District Sports Office on November 8.
The 10 km marathon, which is of open category for both men and women, will begin from Asanang Playground and end at Selbalgre in West Garo Hills.
There will be free on the spot registration of participants and interested individuals have been requested to report at the venue at 6 am.
Cash prizes and medals will be awarded to the winners while all participants will be presented with certificates.
Special prizes will also be given to the youngest and the oldest participants.
