On November 1 around 5.30 am, police detected a truck driven by Md Moynal Hoque (26), while transporting coal in violation of NGT order at Rwiang (WKH).
Theft
On November 1 around 5 am, miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-05Q-3375) belonging to Gopal Chakma from his residence at Lumjingsuk, Madanrting, Shillong.
Attempt to murder
Joybiful Suchiang of Iooksi village (WJH) lodged a complaint that on October 30, her ex-husband Shibormi Lyngdoh (27) forcibly took her son and attempted to hang him. The child survived. Police arrested the accused.
