Sitharaman to celebrate Diwali in Dibang Valley

SHILLONG: Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will celebrate Diwali with the Forward Troops posted in Dibang Valley in Arunachal Pradesh, a release issued here informed. Located in the remotest part of the country, Dibang Valley is sparsely populated with an average density of about one man per km. The valley lacks infrastructure. However, initiative has been taken to “take the road to the forward areas”, the release said. Sitharaman will review infrastructure development and Defence preparedness, it added.
