Accident
On November 2 around 9:00am, an accident took place involving one Maruti Alto (ML-04C-6561) driven by Heibormul Lyngdoh (39) and one scooty (ML-04C-4685) ridden by Krishna Kalita at New Hills Junction in West Jaintia Hills. The driver of the car and scooty rider sustained injuries and were taken to CH Jowai and Dr. Norman Tunnel Hospital.
On November 2 around 9:20pm, one SPTS bus (ML-01-6892) driven by Balawan Lyngdoh ran over a twelve year old boy identified as Malki Shadap while he attempted to get off the bus at Paltan Bazar. The victim sustained injuries and was admitted at Civil Hospital.

Assault
Devendro Nongsiej (75) lodged a complaint stating that on November 2 around 3 pm, Dilip Kharmawlong assaulted Jainstar Kharmawlong (41) at Mawlong village in West Khasi Hills. The victim sustained injuries and was taken to NEIGRIHMS, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Fraud
Susan R Marak lodged a complaint stating that Biki Modak of Hallidayganj in West Garo Hills cheated her of Rs 21,000.

Theft
Prasanjeet Swer lodged a complaint stating that on November 3 around 2:30am, five unidentified miscreants stopped him and his friend at Mawpun in Golf Links and snatched his wallet containing Rs 60,000 cash, marriage certificate and Aadhaar card.
Koushik Roy lodged a complaint stating that on November 2, unknown miscreants stole his bag containing three Aadhaar cards and Rs 80,000 cash at Iewduh.
Ranjit Kumar Seal lodged a complaint stating that on November 2, unknown miscreants broke into his shop at Williamnagar in East Garo Hills and stole Rs 60,000 cash and electronic goods valued at Rs 3 lakh.
Raja Alom lodged a complaint stating that on November 2, unknown miscreants broke into his shop at Williamnagar market in East Garo Hills and stole six TV sets and other electronic goods valued at Rs 70,000.
Salim Uddin lodged a complaint stating that on November 2, unknown miscreants broke into his shop at Williamnagar market in East Garo Hills and stole garments valued at Rs 60,000.
M Syrpuh, Forest Beat Officer, Wildlife Beat Sonapur lodged a complaint stating that on September 12, unknown miscreant(s) stole one Wild Life Monitoring Trap camera valued at Rs 20,000 which had been installed on August 2 at Narpuh Wildlife Sanctuary in East Jaintia Hills.

Threat
Cherangchi K Sangma lodged a complaint stating that on October 22 around 8:00pm, one unidentified person indecently abused and insulted her at Dilma in North Garo Hills. The complaint also stated that on October 23 around 7:30pm, she had received a phone call from one Teban Shira, wherein the caller insulted and threatened her with dire consequences.

Trucks detained
On November 1 at about 2:30 am, Police detected two trucks (PB-11BN-2390 & HB-63-8830) driven by Ashok Kumar and Madhu Miah, respectively, while transporting coal in violation of NGT orders at Araimile in Tura.
