10 injured in separate accidents

Shillong: On November 6, 27-year old Sahil Rehman met with an accident after the bike he was riding skid and fell at Lad Sharai. First aid and wound care was done by 108 Umsning based ambulance.
In another incident on the same day, Sumit Mughal (29), met with an accident, head on collision while he was riding his scooty with a Maruti van at 5th Mile Upper Shillong. He sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong by 108 Pomlum based ambulance.
On November 7, Nazimul Alom (30), met with an accident after his bike skid and fell at Dewankata in Selsella. The victim was an inebriated state and sustained injuries. He was shifted to Phulbari CHC by 108 Phulbari based ambulance.
In another incident, an 18-year-old boy, Shanborlang Lamin was riding a scooty when he met with an accident head on with another scooter at St Peter’s Petrol Pump, Dhankheti on November 7. The victim sustained minor injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital by 108 Laitumkhrah based ambulance.
On the same day, an oil tanker overturned at Bogadol in Tikrikilla. The victim, Ramjhan Sarkar (38), sustained multiple injuries and was shifted to Tikrikilla PHC by 108 Tikrikilla based ambulance.
While an 11-year old girl, Shibani Sunar suffered minor burn injuries on her eyes while bursting crackers in Garikhana on November 7. She was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
On Thursday, Rahul Sharma (25) was in an inebriated state when he met with an accident with his scooty at 13th Mile. First Aid and wound care done and the victim was shifted to Byrnihat CHC by 108 Nongpoh based ambulance.
Twenty-one-year old Sobiar Rehman slipped behind the rear tyres while the truck was moving back and the tyres crushed his leg in Garikhana on November 7. The victim suspected major fracture from his knee to toes. The first aid and wound care was done and the victim was shifted to Civil Hospital by 108 Shillong Civil based ambulance.
Two persons identified as Banisha L Lyngkhoi (35) & Badapkupar Dkhar (40), was severely injured after the scooty (ML05 R 6556)they were riding went dashing against a truck at Mawlai Iewrynghep on Thursday. Both the victims are in critical condition and were shifted to Civil Hospital by 108 Shillong based ambulance.
