SHILLONG: H Elias Higher Secondary School – representing Meghalaya – beat Chandigarh 2-0 in their first match at the U-17 boys Subroto Cup in New Delhi on Thursday. Gladdy Kharbuli and Kitboklang Khyriem scored both the winning goals in the second half of the game. Meghalaya has been placed in Group E along with Chandigarh, Delhi, Assam and Chattisgarh. Meghalaya will now take on Delhi on Saturday at 1:00pm.
