UDP and PDF members to join HSPDP

MAWKYRWAT: In a major boost to the HSPDP Mawkyrwat Constituency ahead of the council polls next year, senior leaders and supporters of the United Democratic Party (UDP) and the People’s Democratic Front (PDF) will join the party on November 16 in a meeting to be held at the party’s office in Mawkyrwat at 11 am.
Official sources informed that the team of UDP will be led by Working President of the UDP Mawkyrwat Circle, Jeslandroy Nongsiej and General Secretary, Synshar Lyngkhoi who have just resigned from the the party along with other leaders and supporters.
Meanwhile, the PDF will be led by former President, YG Lyngdoh who left the party after the assembly elections.
Sources also informed that former President of the UDP Mawkyrwat Circle, Tyngshain Kharlyngdoh and General Secretary, B. Marbaniang, who supported KHNAM candidate, Enbin K Raswai in theAsembly election will also join HSPDP along with their supporters.
With the joining of the leaders and supporters of the UDP and PDF, HSPDP is very confident that it will win the council polls in 2019.
