Attempt to steal
On November 15 at about 5.30 am, an unidentified miscreant attempted to steal a car tape from a vehicle parked in the premises of Civil Hospital, Shillong.

Theft
Heni S Marak lodged a complaint that on November 15, unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-08C-9109) from Damalgre Bazar (SWGH).
On the night of November 14, unknown miscreants broke into the office of St. Peter Higher Secondary School at Pyndengrei (WKH), damaged the school property and also stole cash of Rs 6,000.
Endosh Shira (53), lodged a complaint that on November 13, unknown miscreants broke into his house at Dalbot-B village (WKH) and stole cash Rs. 60,160/-.
Son attempts to rape mother
A thirty-five-year-old woman lodged a complaint that on November 13 around 3 pm, her twenty-two year old son armed with a knife attempted to rape her. Police apprehended the accused person and during enquiry, it transpired that the accused person is mentally unstable, deaf and dumb. Police forwarded him to MIMHANS, Shillong for observation.

House gutted
Trosparly Puwein, Sordar of Nonghynrum village (WKH) lodged a complaint that on November 4 at about 1 am, Phormen Mawlong set fire an abandoned house of Sisilia Nongrem (47) and also threatened her with dire consequences. As a result, the house was completely gutted and loss of property is reported to be around Rs. 50,000.

Rilang river view point vandalised
Clearson Kharsyiemlieh, Myntri of Mawranglang village (SWKH) lodged a complaint that on October 16 & 25, 2018, families of Skendro Lyngkhoi and Tresta Nongsiej vandalised the Rilang River View Point at the village. The complainant further alleged that the same persons had also destroyed the fencing of the view point in the year 2012.

Violation of Section 144
Binestar Ksanlah and Tobias Tiewdop both of Shella village (EKH) lodged a complaint that on October 2, Kondro K Ksanlah and Levistone Youthborn along with others organised a public meeting in the community / Dorbar Hall of Shella village at Shella Bazar which amounted to intentional violation of order under section 144 CrPC promulgated by SDM Sohra Civil Sub-Division, Sohra.
