Lawei Baphyrnai, Eastern Pirates enter football final

SHILLONG: Lawei Baphyrnai and Eastern Pirates have entered the final of the Open to All Football Tournament 2018 organized by Uplifter Alternative in collaboration with Nongthymmai Sports & Cultural Club at Madan Nongthymmai. Lawei Baphyrnai defeated Eastern Invasion 5-3 in the first semifinal while Eastern Pirates defeated Rising East United 3-2 in the other semifinal. The tournament is being sponsored by CR Projects, Christabel Kharkongor, MLA Charles Pyngrope, MDCs Latiplang Kharkongor and Jemino Mawthoh and former MLA Basingroy Kharshandi, among others.
