Drivers’ association chief to resign

NONGPOH: Nongpoh Area Maxi Can Owner and Driver Association (NAMCODA) president, Cardynald Kharkamni has decided to tender his resignation letter as the head of the association on Tuesday.
Talking to The Shillong Times, Kharkamni said that he had decided to resign from the post due to personal reasons, adding “I can no longer serve as president of the association.”
It may be mentioned, NAMCODA is an association of sumo owners and drivers involved in ferrying passengers from Nongpoh to Shillong and vice versa on daily basis.
